A downloadable game

This is a group exercise made by Mohammed Ajao, Jorge Bautista, and Tiffany Chan. TacOps is a 3 - level shooting game with enemies patrolling the levels and attacking the player. The player wins by shooting to kill each enemy on the level and hiding behind walls to escape their field of view.

The first level begins by introducing the player to the controls of the game. This level only has one enemy to kill and there's only one wall for hiding. The second level increases the number of enemies and there are more walls to give the player opportunities to reload. The last level has larger green enemies with slightly more health and the player still only has 100 health to kill all 14 cubes.

Controls: WASD for moving, Spacebar for jumping, mouse for moving head and shooting, R for reloading

I enjoyed the way the player and shooting felt in this game, but I often felt like shots that were clearly on the enemy weren't hitting which could get frustrating, also the gun did feel a little out of place compared to all the blocks, but I thought it was funny.

The gunplay was really nice, I like the gun and the it fire and the bullet tracing. The first person aspect needs some work on since most of the time when I moved I could see the player model in front so the camera probably wasn't in the right position. It's a fun game though and a really strong base to add things to like more weapons, enemies, and detailed designs.

The gameplay of this game feels super fun. I feel as some graphical improvements with some free assets would make the game feel super polished and a great experience. I like the feedback that shooting the gun has and it makes the game feel super fun.

I enjoyed playing this game. I like the concept and the simplicity of the game. I'm not sure if the enemy was going through the wall, but it seemed like it. I also think the gun could be a more block gun to match the aesthetic of the game.

Fun game with a few quirks. You might want to set the player model as invisible so it isn't clipping into the camera. There is a basis for a fun shooter here, the gun is particularly fun to use with its audio, visuals, and reload. Enemy AI is also well implemented with idle walking around before seeing the player.

I like the ability to add your name and have it show up on the screen. However there head bobbing seems to be connected to the camera but doesn't include the body so sometimes the camera goes outside of the body and its fairly nauseating. It also seemed to cause a problem where I could phase through the wall if I stood close enough to one. I also had some issues with hit registering with the bullets but that could have been a skill issue.
